To the Town Hall

The city surveyor, Mr Morton

Deat Sir, Will you allow me to erect an open shed 14 feet high at the back 12 feet high in the front and about 30 feet long & 20 feet wide simplly to protect my vehicles from the weather in my large yard in Latrobe St. With your permission it shall be substantially erected. I hope you will grant me this favour as my vehicles are simply being ruined from exposure to all weathers for the past six months

Yours Respectfully

Edward I. Cole
