Sarah Jane Balmain
Sarah was born on the 5th of September 1867 at Ballarat and she died on the 2nd of September 1939.
Sarah did marry but had no children. She was the daughter of James Balmain born Dundee, Scotland in 1827 and Elizabeth Sellwood born Swindon, Wiltshire, England in 1835.
Sarah and her sister Annie helped their mother run a shop in Ballarat because their father was often away from the family.
