Ann Waters was one of the Irish Famine Orphans on the Lady Kennaway. She had been a Child's Maid prior to leaving her native place of County Sligo, Ireland; she was Roman Catholic; possessed a Bible and could neither read nor write. No entry regarding whether her parents were still alive or not. (Nominal Passenger List - VPRS 14/P0000/0004)

Ann arrived at the Immigration Depot on 13th December 1848 and left there on 15th December. She was engaged by Mr. Henriques of Melbourne for 3 months at £10 per annum. (Disposal List - VPRS 14/P0000/0006)
