Ann Lawler was one of the Irish Famine Orphans on the Lady Kennaway. She had been a House Servant prior to leaving her native place of Rathfanham, Ireland; she was Roman Catholic; possessed a Bible and could read and write. Her Father was still alive. (Nominal Passenger List - VPRS 14/P0000/0004)

Ann entered the Immigration Depot on 13th December 1848 and left there on 15th December 1848 when she was engaged by Andrew Russell of Melbourne for 12 months at £10 per annum. (Disposal List - VPRS 14/P0000/0006)
